Just a few days ago, we added a second rr99.com Special Bot, Selene, from the PS5 title Returnal. Once again, working together, you were able to crack the riddle and free her to make it 2 out of 4. This will complete the challenge, unlocking the Ape Escape Special Bot and earning you the No Escape! If this is your final Special Bot to unlock, you’ll also get the Four the Players Trophy. Throw the cannister with the net inside at the blue aura when the lock-on symbol appears to reveal the Special Bot.

Astro And His Crew Take You On A Magical Exploration Of The Ps5™ Console

Puzzle Piece 3/4 – When crossing the tightrope while being blown to the side, jump over to the platform with the flower. Hit the flower to cause another tower to appear, which has this puzzle piece on it. Puzzle Piece 2/4 – From the next checkpoint, go to the left to find a cave area with this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 4/4 – Now instead of progressing upward from that puzzle piece, go to the right side of that monkey bar to reach another handhold up to the right, which drops the wall to the right.

Every area had the same problem of mandatory physical interaction to get through the level, none of which were doable for me. Every single level reached a point where I couldn’t proceed, leaving me no choice but to ask for help. There are no options in the menu to adjust any controls whatsoever – all motion and physical controls are mandatory. The PS5’s Pulse headset is a headset designed to use 3D audio with PS4 and PS5 games that support it, allowing for sounds to be heard as if all around the player, similar to a surround sound system. It also features two microphones that can cancel out background noises, and still has a 3.5mm jack to use as a standard headset.

Astro’s Playroom Review – Introducing The Ps5

Astro’s Playroom is as old as the PlayStation 5, and this is most likely the first game new owners booted up. Despite being a brief experience, this is the kind of game that can be played with family members and is worth playing in 2025. Sony Interactive Entertainment finally nailed the platforming genre, and it only took a cute little robot to give them the courage to innovate. Another display you can unlock for the Labo area is a sign with the Sony Interactive Entertainment logo which, if punched three times, will drop down and reveal the Sony Computer Entertainment logo.

The PULSE Explores are PlayStation’s first wireless earbuds, and contain the same dual-microphone noise-cancelling technology from the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset. It uses planar magnetic driver tech to deliver higher-quality sound compared to older earbuds. The case also allows you to charge the earbuds, which is what the light bar on the bottom of it is for. The “Slim” model of the PlayStation 5 is 30% smaller than the launch model and replaces the front USB “Standard-A” port with a second “Type-C” port. Perhaps the most significant adjustment is that the Digital Edition could be upgraded with a disc drive, which the launch model was unable to do.

It’s enough content to keep you busy for around an hour or so longer, but considering Astro’s Playroom came free for anyone who owns a PS5, it’s more than enough reason to celebrate. PlayStation and Team Asobi have dropped a surprise update for Astro’s Playroom in celebration of the reveal of its full-fledged Astro title, Astro Bot. Maybe the most impressive piece of the PlayStation 5 hardware is its new controller, but it’ll only be as good as the games that support it. Transcending its role as an introduction to the PS5’s features, Astro’s Playroom is a quick and delightful celebration of PlayStation’s history.

Netflix Is Acquiring Warner Bros And Its Games Division, Including Netherrealm, Rocksteady, And More

Early models featured RCA jacks for video and audio output and a Parallel I/O port, but these were all removed by the 1999 models. The PS5 comes with a free game that not only demonstrates the new console’s abilities but celebrates the long history of PlayStation. At the top, wait for the last block to slide left so you can stand on the left-hand side. Use a jump and Beam Glide to land on top of the block (just like you did before), then ride the block left through the Coins. From here you can jump left one last time to land on a button that reveals a Yellow Trampoline. Head back to the teeter-totter and Beam Glide on the left side of it to raise it up to the right.

While many games supported the DualShock, very few utilized the right analog stick. JAPAN Studio’s own Ape Escape is famous for requiring the use of a DualShock for this very reason. It’s a wonderful celebration of PlayStation’s history but the absolute best moment is the final boss battle which is so perfectly handled we almost died of nostalgia playing it. Past games are also celebrated in fine style thanks to the little skits that are always going on in the background, often involving other bots playing the role of famous game characters.

Puzzle Piece 1/4 – When climbing in the monkey suit, when you go up the first moving handhold there will be a yellow handhold on the left you can grab, which reveals a new area. Puzzle Piece 4/4 – After crossing the bridge, instead of jumping up towards the end of the level, go down to the left to find this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 3/4 – To proceed you are supposed to use the throwable item across the gap towards the next checkpoint. Instead, throw it at both of the moving areas to the right to reveal this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 3/4 – After the next checkpoint where you have another large ramp to slide down, this puzzle piece is up to the left across two breakable platforms. Artifact 2/2 “PS Eye Toy Camera” – On the right side of the area, defeat the enemies and jump across the small platforms to the one with the two coins and the wire pull on it, which contains this artifact.

These trophies are straightforward‚ requiring players to follow the narrative path and complete specific challenges. Earning them provides a sense of accomplishment as you progress through the game’s charming and nostalgic levels. We hope you are getting ready for a good summer and have enjoyed the last few weeks of gaming news. Many of the bots making up the crew are cameo characters that have marked the PlayStation history. By unlocking these 4 hidden characters in Astro’s Playroom, you will be able to take them with you into the new game, Astro Bot, and add them to your starting crew.

Jump up from the smaller umbrella to the larger one, then directly in the middle over the line of coins. Astro’s Playroom has 142 Collectible Locations (46 Artefacts & 96 Puzzle Pieces). This guide shows you where to find all Collectibles in Astro’s Playroom on PS5. Provides accessibility game reviews, commentary, news, and accessibility reference guides. From here, jump right through two glass panels, but instead of using the switch on the right, jump left to get onto a platform with water on it, then left again through some glass.

Alongside releasing the four special bots and a new launch trailer for Astro Bot, Sony has announced a “special celebration countdown” for the game in Astro’s Playroom. Players have until September 6 to pre-order the game and unlock costumes and paints for the DualSpeeder before everyone else. The final Astro’s Playroom update for all four special bots is out now, and the DLC can be carried over to Astro Bot when it launches on Friday, September 6, for the PS5. The special bots are from Bloodborne, Returnal, Gran Turismo, and Ape Escape.
